For those who know Michael DiLeo and Shannon Everett Hollingsworth—and the long, winding, story that brought them together—yesterday was something special.
They were married in a small, family-only ceremony in the backyard. No crowds. No spectacle. Just love.
And every detail was perfect.
The handwritten vows.
The simple elegance of their outfits.
The way the late-afternoon light hit the freshly manicured garden.
Every bit of it felt intentional, meaningful, and quietly magical.
It was short. It was sweet.
And it was deeply, genuinely lovely.
After the ceremony, and some group-style singing, we all headed to Clark’s Oyster Bar for dinner and drinks, laughter, toasts, old stories, and new beginnings.
And now, the newlyweds are off—hand in hand—to Southern France for their honeymoon.
Perfect ending to a perfect day.
Or maybe… just the beginning.
