This past year, I had the incredible opportunity to speak onboard Star Legend, one of Windstar Cruises’ elegant all-suite yachts. For those unfamiliar, Star Legend is a small, luxury vessel designed for intimate, immersive travel experiences. With a capacity of just 312 guests and a nearly 1:1 guest-to-crew ratio, she delivers an unparalleled level of service, comfort, and access to hidden-gem ports that larger ships simply can’t reach.
The itinerary I was on was nothing short of breathtaking—sailing from Lisbon to Dublin with stops in Porto, El Ferrol, Bordeaux, Le Palais, and St-Malo. But what made the journey even more special was the ship itself. From the moment I stepped aboard, I felt an immediate sense of familiarity.
