I have forever loved the idea and notion of “wiggle room”- the freedom and opportunity to do something different than what was planned or negotiated.
It’s the story of my life, everyone’s life.
Life, in every aspect, is full of wiggle room, taking detours, and going in a different direction.
Roundabouts. Diversions. Deviations. Alter alternate routes and choices. Byways and bypaths.
We set out in one direction, according to plan, and go in another direction altogether, according to fate and karma.
We find our way.
Wiggle Room, the name of the venue, where these photos were made, is a West-Texas-themed bar from the Ranch 616 group, in downtown Austin.
The venue is just so picturesque and full of funky vibe and vision.
In these photos, the model is none other than the always fun, always talented, always cheerful, always sexy, Sherilyn Milch
She needed a few updated fashion shots for her growing portfolio and I needed a couple of last-minute illustrations for my new book.

I loved photographing at Wiggle Room. It was awesome. We had the whole place to ourselves, before it opened, thanks to proprietary Tony’s generosity.
I can’t wait to take my next hot date here and indulge in some Texas-style and size margaritas. Gulp.
I have, obviously, photographed, Sherilyn, many times before.
It’s always the same for me. She over-delivers. Her face, eyes, body, long limbs, hands, and hair…are all works of art.
She’s fun, honest, gorgeous, free, and full of great ideas.
