The part of photography that I never, ever grow tired of, is having the magical and empowering ability, in the very palm of my hand, to suspend time, even if only for a moment.
And not just any moment but that very special moment, a unique moment, never to be repeated moment, in the history of the world.
Yes, that moment. Click.
Granted, these photographs, some made of bits, bytes, and pixels, others made up of atoms, won’t last forever.
But they will last through my lifetime and likely the generations of a few more after me.
Not only do I get, through my camera, to interrupt the passing and marching flow of time, but, in equal measure, I get to revisit this exact suspension over and over and over again.
Pinch me.
And in this humble, visual revisitation, find treasure and pleasure…beyond measure.
